A few days before its release, the censor board has censored John and Sharvari’s film. According to the information, a total of 9 minutes of content has been removed from the film. Changes have been made in many scenes of the film. After this, the censor board has given the film a UA certificate.

The hanging scene was removed


Not just one or two but many scenes in Veda have been changed. The word ‘Jodhpur’ in Jodhpur High Court was asked to be muted. Earlier in the film, there was a hanging scene. The censor board has also used scissors on this scene. It has been asked to remove it. Let us tell you that the hanging scene was of total 2 minutes and 16 seconds.

Changes in the disclaimer

Apart from this, the censor board has also asked the makers to make changes in the disclaimer scene. The censor board suggested the idea of ​​revising the 1 minute 16 second disclaimer with a voice over. At the same time, a dialogue that insults women and a social identity will also be changed.

Many other changes have been made in John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s film Veda. The text ‘Brahmin son, Shudra ka putra’ has also been removed from the film. The audio track of the Sanskrit shloka has also been removed. A character of the film was seen listening to it. Apart from this, the censor board also objected to the scene of tearing notes and asked to show it by blurring it.

Veda will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’

Tamannaah Bhatia will also be seen in Veda along with John and Sharvari. It is worth noting that on August 15, ‘Veda’ will clash with Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Khel-Khel Mein’. Apart from Akshay Kumar, stars like Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Amy Virk, Fardeen Khan and Pragya Jaiswal will also be seen in this film.
