The Canadian government has expressed strong opposition to this order of Trump.
Canadian acting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted on X and said, “Canada may face difficulties in the coming days, but will be given a strong answer.” The Trump government had threatened to re -implement the tariff on Friday (January 31, 2025). Security Minister David McGinti and immigration, refugee and citizenship minister Mark Miller were present.

Growing crime in Canada
In Canada, agencies have been alerted for increasing crime and illegal acts. On Tuesday (January 28, 2025), 2 Indo-Caunadians were arrested from Swift current area of Suskechewan state. When the police investigated their vehicle, 8 kg of fennels were recovered. Both the arrested people were identified as 26 -year -old Swati Narula and 28 -year -old Kunwardip Singh. Both are residents of Calgary, Alberta.
