Talking about his character in the film, Pankaj Tripathi said, ‘His participation in this film reflects his attempt to move away from the comedy-drama character. He also admitted that he often comes across a role that is humorous and showed the importance of breaking out of that stereotype.
Said- ‘I am trying my best to get out of this stereotype…’
Pankaj Tripathi says, “Yes, the audience expects me to play such a character – a fun-loving character and with a role like ‘Kadak Singh’, and I am making a conscious effort to break out of this stereotype. But what? Whether I have been successful or not is up to the audience. Now that the film has been released, critics and audiences have acknowledged Pankaj’s character which is different from his usual acting.
Let us tell you that in the film he is playing the character of a person who is facing memory loss. They are unable to recognize their daughter or girlfriend and the events that occurred before their accident. Along with this, he is fighting a serious charge related to chit fund scam and is understanding how he had a troubled relationship with his children. So now they need to fix this aspect.
