Story of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
The story of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is based on 29th century Kashi, which is described as the last city on earth where even the river Ganges has dried up. In the film, Prabhas plays a bounty hunter named Bhairava, who is out to capture a pregnant woman Sum-80 (Deepika), who is believed to be carrying the supposed Kalki avatar of Lord Vishnu. Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan) is protecting her, while the forces of the evil dictator Yaskin (Kamal Haasan) are also chasing her.
