Kalki 2898 AD Movie Review: ‘Kalki’ can give new heights to Prabhas’ career

I was looking for a good movie for a long time. Here a good movie means a story that is new, a movie that keeps you hooked, that is, it does not give you a chance to get up from your seat. With this hope, I watched many previous movies, but none of them lived up to my expectations, but after watching the trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ my expectations increased further. Since then I was waiting for its release. Well, today I watched the movie and how did I like it? Did it live up to my expectations or not? I am going to tell you the answers to all these questions.

First of all, let’s talk about the story of the film. The story of this film is very strong which has the power to create a stir not only in the country but also in the world. The story starts from Kashi and slowly this story takes us to a place named Shambala which is kept hidden from the world and the people there hope that someone will come who will save them from darkness and fill their world with light. The darkness that is being talked about here is ‘Complex’. This is a world where those people live who want to rule the whole world, where work is going on on ‘Project K’.

In the film, Prabhas is playing the role of a man named ‘Bhairava’, who is fighting for survival every day like others. Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the film is very important, in which he is seen playing the character of ‘Ashwatthama’. By the way, the story of the whole film is based on Deepika Padukone, when she lives in the ‘complex’, her name is SUM-80, but when she is taken out of there, her name is given as ‘Sumati’. Let us tell you, all of them are fighting with the god of the ‘complex’, ‘Supreme’, in whose role you will see Kamal Haasan. There will be a lot of ups and downs in the story of the film, which you will like. By the way, the story of this film is not over yet, the makers are also working on its second part. Why is Deepika taken out of the world of ‘complex’ in the film? What is Prabhas’ collection with Amitabh? These are such questions, to know the answer to which you will have to go to the cinema and watch the entire film.

At the same time, you will see the famous Bengali actor Saswat Chatterjee in the role of the right hand of the god ‘Supreme’ of ‘Complex’, who has a very big role in the film. By the way, she is playing the role of Prabhas’ girlfriend in the film and you are going to like the pair of both of them very much, but their screen space is a little less in the film. Now talking about acting, this time Prabhas will win your heart and Amitabh Bachchan is the superstar of the century. Whenever you see Amitabh on screen, you will see a different avatar of him. On the other hand, Deepika will be seen as a calm person. She has also done a good job in the film. Also, every star in the film has done justice to their acting. Now if we talk about the direction of the film, then Nag Ashwin deserves all the praise. He has given a great film to the audience, which can compete with Hollywood and this is the first Hindi film, which can prove that such films can be made in Hindi which can compete with Hollywood films. Amazing picturization, brilliant cinematography is enough to win your heart.

Talking about the flaws, the first half of the film is a bit confusing, in which you will reach the second half while trying to understand the story, but the second part seems stronger. The film is a bit slow, due to which you may feel a little bored in between. It seems that the makers have stretched the story by dividing the film into two parts. Talking about the music in the film, unnecessary music has not been added to any scene, you will also like the timing of the song and the music will reach directly to your heart. Overall, this film is worth watching, which you can watch with your entire family and children will also be happy to see this film in 3D. So 4 stars for this film from my side.
