Actress Kamya has joined the Punjabi TV show Raj Mahal and she will be seen in a different avatar in the show. The actress will play the role of Mantralekha, who is Chandralekha’s elder sister. Talking about her role, Kamya says, "I got a call from the makers of the show for this cameo role. I took my time to decide and finally took it. I like to play strong characters and this time also create something which is new and interesting."
She continues, "This role that I am playing is important and is different from what I have done before. Even though this show belongs to the fantasy category, I still decided to take it up. I have never been a part of any fantasy show before."
He has started shooting and is likely to be a part of the show for a few months. she says, "I have already started shooting and I have been told that my character will last for about two months."
