She has also been busy making her second film Emergency as a director for the last two years. Apart from this, the actress has also entered politics this year. She is a BJP MP from Mandi seat of Himachal Pradesh. Amidst all this, the actress has now revealed whether she will leave her Bollywood career after joining politics or not?

Kangana Ranaut interacted with the media during the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Emergency. This year Kangana was away from the industry as she contested from Mandi constituency. Lok Sabha Elections contested. He won the election and was sworn in as a Member of Parliament in June 2024. Ever since Kangana Ranaut started her political journey, there have been rumours that she may quit acting. Apart from this, some of her previous films have not performed well at the box office. When Kangana was asked about this, she said that she has not taken any decision and she will leave it to the audience.
Kangana said, “Will I continue acting, I think this is a question where I would like people to decide it. For example, I never said that I want to become a leader. People should say you should become a leader. Whether a party conducts a survey or whatever criteria were there to give you a ticket, it is the people’s choice that I should contest elections, now, tomorrow if emergency comes and if they want to see me more, if I feel that I can get success, then I will continue.”
I will go wherever I am needed
Kangana said that if politics needs her more, she will give her time to it. But if the audience wants to see her on screen, she will continue her acting career. The Queen actress said that she will work only where she feels needed, respected and important. Kangana said, “I have no such plans that I will go here or there. I am fine anywhere, wherever I am needed, that is all fine.”

Talking about the work front, Kangana was last seen in the films ‘Chandramukhi 2’ and ‘Tejas’. In the latter, she played the lead role of an Indian Air Force pilot. She received mixed reviews for her performance. Kangana will now be seen in Emergency alongside Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman and Satish Kaushik. The film will be released in September.
