Thieves crossed jewelery worth 25 lakhs and about three lakh cash from the house of retired inspector Satish Kumar, resident of Hargovindapuram of Bithur police station area. The victim informed the police about the incident. Police is searching for the accused. On March 9, Satish went to Indergarh in the ancestral village Kannauj to celebrate the festival of Holi with son Shivam and wife Reema. On Friday morning, neighbor Shailendra gave information about the lock of the main gate of the house on the phone. When he returned home, he saw that the locks of the rooms were broken. All the stuff was busy. Jewelry worth about 25 lakhs and cash worth about three lakhs kept in the cupboard vault was missing. The thieves also took the bills of jewelry. Bithoor police reached the spot and found footage of CCTV cameras installed around the scene. Inspector Prem Narayan Vishwakarma said that the accused are being searched.
