In Bidhnu, Kanpur, three youths riding a bike, who were going home to attend the Mundan Sanskar of their nephew, were hit from behind by a dumper on Ramsanehi Mishra Marg. A young man riding a bike died on the spot while two people were seriously injured. Both have been admitted to the hospital. The police have taken possession of the dumper and started searching for the driver.

Neeraj Kuril alias Sarvesh Kumar (25), son of delivery boy Parshuram, resident of Niranjanpur Akbarpur Rania of Kanpur Dehat, along with neighbors Arun (20) and Rajan (25) went to the house of brother-in-law Pushpendra and sister Anita in Harbaspur village of Bidhnu on the same bike. Were going to attend the ceremony. A speeding dumper coming behind hit the bike from behind near Jamu Canal Bridge on Pandit Ramsanehi Mishra Marg. Due to this, all three jumped from the bike and fell in the middle of the road. The wheel of the dumper crushed Neeraj’s head along with his helmet.

He died on the spot in the accident. Both the friends were seriously injured. After the accident, the driver ran away leaving the dumper on the spot. Police reached the information and admitted both the injured to Bidhanu CHC. From there the doctor referred Arun and Rajan to Halt. Elder sister Anita, who reached CHC on receiving information about the accident, fell unconscious after seeing brother’s dead body. As soon as they got the information about their son’s death, Neeraj’s family started crying loudly. Bidhanu police station in-charge Premchandra Kanojia said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Based on the complaint, a report has been registered and the dumper driver is being searched.
