A fire broke out in the basement of a three-storey house in Ksheer Sagar street in Sisamau police station area. Four fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control after an hour of effort. The auto parts stored in the basement were burnt in the fire. There is a possibility of fire due to short circuit caused by the electricity meter.
Pradeep Jaiswal lives in Ksheer Sagar Mishthan street, Gandhinagar Peer Road of Sisamau police station area. He has an auto parts shop in Sarojininagar. He has made a warehouse in the basement of the building. A fire broke out in the basement around 8 am on Wednesday. Pradeep’s son Navneet told that after seeing smoke rising from the basement, he informed the fire brigade. FSO Pradeep Sharma said that there is a possibility of fire due to short circuit. Four fire tenders, which arrived from Colonelganj and Fazalganj fire stations, brought the fire under control after about an hour of effort. There was chaos due to fire amidst dense population. There is no loss of life in the incident. According to Navneet, the loss due to fire is estimated to be around Rs 2 lakh.
