In Kalyanpur, an upset husband committed suicide by hanging himself after his wife did not return from her maternal home. The family members informed the police after seeing the dead body of the youth hanging from the noose. Police reached the spot and after investigation, sent the body for postmortem. Suresh Nishad (36), resident of Awas Vikas 3, Kalyanpur, had a love marriage with Poonam, who lived a few steps away from his house, 16 years ago. After marriage, Suresh and Poonam stopped visiting Poonam’s house. They had two children, Manisha and Ansh.
Brother Subhash Nishad told that after seeing Suresh, Poonam’s family members used to say the opposite. Three years ago, Poonam started visiting her parents’ house but even then Suresh did not go. After some time, Poonam started staying at her maternal home for several months. Due to this Suresh started becoming mentally disturbed. When a dispute started between the two, Poonam even lodged a complaint in the women’s police station. A compromise was reached between the two but Poonam did not return from her maternal home for three years. Due to this, troubled Suresh committed suicide by hanging himself on Friday night.
