On Monday morning, a blood-soaked body of a mechanic was found lying on a cot inside an auto charging center in Ramaipur, Bidhanu. He was murdered by hitting him several times on the head with a heavy object. Upon receiving the information, the police called the forensic team and dog squad and investigated the spot and collected evidence.

Ravi Shankar Gupta, resident of Awas Vikas Hansapuram, has opened an auto charging center in the under construction market in Ramaipur. 38 year old Mohd. resident of Jajmau. Shadab is a vehicle mechanic. Shadab’s family consists of father Farid, mother Shaheen Bano and three brothers.
Shadab was the second among four brothers. According to family members, Shadab did not have much contact with home. He used to stay in some garage or the other. Shadab has an old acquaintance with market owner Ravi Shankar. On Sunday evening, Shadab came to the market to talk to the owner about renting the shop. After which he stopped in the market itself. Vijay, a resident of Kulhauli, had put his auto in the charging center on Sunday evening. On Monday morning, as soon as Vijay opened the shutter to take the auto, Shadab’s blood soaked body was lying on the cot. There were also splatters of blood on the walls. The killer killed him by hitting him on the head countless times with a heavy stone or some other object. After which the auto owner informed the market owner Ravi Shankar about the incident. Police reached the spot after receiving information and called forensic team and dog squad and collected evidence from the spot. The back side of the under-construction market is open. The police are suspecting murder by someone who had entered the market with the intention of stealing. Bidhnu Inspector Jitendra Pratap said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. The case is being investigated on the basis of evidence found at the scene.
