Kanpur: Two Parties Clash In Taraweeh, Panic Due To Stone Pelting And Firing – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Two parties clashed during Taraweeh on Wednesday night in Chamanganj police station area in Kanpur. Both sides pelted stones at each other. As the dispute escalated, several rounds of firing from both sides spread panic in the area. On receiving information about the uproar, ACP Sisamau reached the spot along with the circle force. Cartridge shells were found at the incident site. Police are scanning CCTV.

On Wednesday night, someone opened fire near Mohammad Ali Park in Chamanganj following a dispute between two parties. Amidst the Namaz, several rounds of bullets caused panic among the people. During this time people were gathering for namaz. Taking advantage of the crowd, the accused fled from the spot. On getting information about the incident, ACP Sisamau reached the spot along with the force of Shweta Kumari Circle. Police have found two kiosks near the park.

However, the police could not get information about the accused till late night due to Taraweeh. According to the ACP, the police is scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the area. Local people have told about three to four rounds of firing. There is no information about anyone being injured in the incident. Till late night neither party had given any complaint to the police. It is being ascertained over what issue and between whom there was a dispute. The ACP has identified the accused and said that action will be taken.
