On Thursday, the Vigilance team caught accountant Vipin Diwakar red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Khurdkhojanpur village of Araul police station area. On the other hand, SDM Bilhaur Rashmi Lamba says that information about the matter has been received. On the instructions of higher officials, further action will be taken against the accused accountant.

According to the information, Vikas Kumar, a resident of Khurdkhogenpur village, had recently complained about the accountant to Vigilance along with evidence. Since then, the Vigilance team was keeping a constant eye on the accountant. On Thursday, the team caught accountant Vipin Diwakar red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a farmer for heritage related work. On the other hand, SDM Rashmi Lamba confirmed the arrest of the accountant and said that suspension action will be taken as soon as the vigilance report comes. SDM told that she has already suspended accountant Vipin Diwakar once. But after receiving the order, reinstatement had to be done again.
