You all are aware that Kareena Kapoor started her career with the film ‘Refugee’ in the year 2000. Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan also debuted with him in the film.
However, this film of Kareena and Abhishek could not do much at the box office. But Kareena’s work was highly appreciated. Then the actress won everyone’s hearts by playing the role of ‘Poo’ in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ released in 2001.

While remembering her bad phase in a media interview, Kareena Kapoor had said, “Before Jab We Met, many of her films had flopped. So I started thinking what would happen now. During that time I was free for a long time.”
Kareena also said that there was a time when she was completely broken and used to wake up and cry at night. However, such a phase always comes in an actor’s life and I am more known for my failures than my successes.
Let us tell you that after 10 consecutive flops in her career, Kareena Kapoor got a chance to work in ‘Jab We Met’. In this film, she was seen in love with Shahid Kapoor.
However, when this film was being shot, both of them had broken up. But when this film was released, the chemistry of both of them set the screen on fire. That’s why it became a blockbuster hit. From here again Kareena’s career took a U turn and she is included in the list of superstars.
