BJP MP Pratap Simha Brother Arrested: Forest Department officials have arrested Vikram Simha, brother of BJP MP Pratap Simha, on charges of cutting trees. Forest Department officials gave this information on Saturday (31 December). According to the report, Vikram Simha is accused of cutting 126 trees worth crores of rupees. Vikram is being interrogated at Aranya Bhavan in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
According to the report, recently Forest Department officials had received a complaint that 126 trees worth crores of rupees had been cut on ten acres of land in Nandagodanahalli, Hassan. On the complaint of a person named Deepak, Forest Department officials came into action and sought permission from the court to investigate this matter. After getting permission from the court, the forest department officers took this action on Saturday.
Vikram Simha gave this clarification
At the same time, in this matter, Vikram Simha says that “This is going to happen next year. Lok Sabha Elections In view of this, there is a conspiracy by the opponents to target my MP brother. I did not see any trees on the land where it is said that trees will be cut. I had signed a contract for one year from 24th July 2023 to grow ginger on that land. I don’t know that there was a tree on that land and it was cut. This is completely a political conspiracy.”

Let us tell you that Pratap Simha is an MP from Mysore-Kodagu in Karnataka. He has also previously been the President of Yuva Morcha Bharatiya Janata Party. MP Pratap Simha recently came under attack from the opposition after allegations of providing Parliament passes to two people who were responsible for spreading panic in the Lok Sabha with gas cans on 13 December.
