Firing with an illegal weapon has proved costly for a chief in Khagaria, Bihar. After the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police is conducting raids to arrest the chief. Meanwhile, the accused Mukhiya has absconded from the house. The viral video is said to be from last Thursday.
Regarding this matter, Gogri SDPO said that the accused Mukhiya has been identified as Sudhir Kumar (Mukhiya), son of late Charitra Ram, resident of Shiromani Tola, Joravarpur under Parbatta police station area, for whose arrest the police is conducting raids. The chief is absconding from home. Soon the police will arrest the accused and send him to judicial custody.
Firing was done while the bar girls were dancing.
Police said that the accused Mukhiya had arrived as a guest at a wedding ceremony in the village itself. Where bar girls were dancing and singing. Hundreds of people were present in the said wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, some other person gave an illegal rifle to the head of Zoravarpur Panchayat, who was sitting on a chair, and he immediately opened fire. However, as soon as the video went viral, the police started investigating the matter. The police have also registered an FIR identifying the accused. After this the chief fled away from his house.
