Sometimes unique and creative methods have to be adopted to raise voice against the decisions of the administration. One such interesting case was seen in Khandwa city, where the villagers protested in a unique way against the administration’s order against the construction of the temple. The incident took place during a public hearing held at Khandwa Collectorate, where villagers of Sahejla village came playing drums and manjira and expressed their displeasure against the officials.
Unique demonstration against administration orders
The villagers of Sahejhala village reached the collectorate and clarified that the district administration has banned the construction of Ram temple being built in the village. This ban has been imposed on the basis of a complaint by a person, Shyam, in which he is claiming that the temple is being built on his land. There is a lot of anger among the villagers regarding this matter, because a 60-70 years old temple already existed in the village and people used to worship there regularly. The villagers had resolved to build a grand Ram temple by collecting donations, but the administration’s decision dashed their hopes.
Unique way of protesting against officials
The villagers staged a unique demonstration to convey their point against the administration. They reached the Collectorate playing drums and manjira and performed aarti for the officers there. Through this demonstration he expressed his displeasure and anger towards the administration. Seeing his unique way, the people present there and the administrative officials were also shocked.
The village sarpanch said that the work of temple construction has been going on in our village for many years. We informed the administration about this several times, but no solution was found. Therefore, today we had to do this unique demonstration. We want the administration to listen to us and investigate the matter seriously.

About 300 to 400 villagers of Sahejla village participated in this demonstration. He urged the administration to understand the sentiments of the villagers and investigate the matter impartially. He says that the dreams of the entire village cannot be put at stake on the basis of one person’s complaint.

The administration has taken cognizance of this unique demonstration of the villagers. The officials assured that they will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. However, the villagers are still waiting for the administration to take concrete steps.
