Akshay Kumar has been going through a very difficult phase on the career front for quite some time. Many of the actor’s films have been back to back flops. Even in the year 2024, three films of Akshay have been released so far. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira proved to be disasters at the box office. At the same time, it was expected that ‘Khel Khel Me’ could support Akshay’s sinking career, but this film also flopped at the ticket counter. Actually, ‘Stree 2’ has ruined the whole game of ‘Khel Khel Mein’. Akshay’s film could not stand in front of Shraddha Kapoor starrer film and due to this ‘Khel Khel Mein’ could not earn either.

Then on the second day, the film earned 2.05 crores, on the third day 3.1 crores, on the fourth day 3.85 crores, on the fifth day 2 crores, on the sixth day 1.2 crores and on the seventh day 1.1 crores. Now it has reached the second week of its release and with this, the initial figures of its second Friday i.e. 8th day’s earnings have also come.

John Abraham’s ‘Veda’ has been a huge flop at the box office in the first week itself. However, the film had a good opening of 6.3 crores on the first day of its release. After which it seemed that this film would become the highest grossing film of Bollywood after ‘Stree 2’. However, ‘Veda’ dashed all hopes and on the second day itself, this film was seen yearning for viewers. Now this film of John Abraham has even lagged behind Akshay’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’.
Amidst all this, if we talk about the earnings of the film, ‘Veda’ earned 6.3 crores on the first day, 1.8 crores on the second day, 2.7 crores on the third day, 3.2 crores on the fourth day, 1.5 crores on the fifth day, 80 lakhs on the sixth day and 70 lakhs on the seventh day. Now the initial figures of the earnings of the film on the second Thursday of its release i.e. the 8th day have come.
