Police have arrested two accused in the case of shooting parents and brother when they opposed the attempt to kidnap two sisters. During the encounter, one of the accused was shot in the leg. He has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

He has been identified as Mahfooz resident of Bilari. The second accused is Bhura Khan. Earlier on Friday, the police of Mundhapande and Bahjoi police station razed the houses of the main accused Muslim and his uncle to the ground using bulldozers.

The accused had constructed a house by illegally occupying the land of the village community. In this entire case, Mundhapande police station in-charge Shailendra Kumar, the then police station in-charge Deepak Malik, Bahjoi police station in-charge Satendra Panwar and inspector Dinesh Kumar have been suspended.

SSP Satpal Antil has announced a reward of 25 thousand on the main accused Muslim. Muslim, a resident of the village, his father Nanhe, uncle Ale Hasan and Suleman and two other people armed with guns entered the house of a firm worker resident of Mundhapande village at around 3 o’clock in the night of 26 June.

The accused had tried to kidnap the married daughter of the firm employee. The family woke up when the elder daughter started shouting. The accused tried to kidnap the two sisters at gunpoint. When the firm employee, his wife and son resisted, all three were shot.

In this case, a report was filed in Mundhapande police station against the accused Muslim and his father Nanhe, uncle Suleman and Ale Hasan along with two unknown persons for attempted kidnapping and murderous attack.
