Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Movie Review: Salman Khan’s film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, released on Friday, is a film prepared for Salman’s die-hard fans. The director of this film is Farhad Samji, who has previously made ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and recently the web series ‘Pop Kaun’. (People are even looking for him to make a web series like ‘Pop Kaun’) Now he has tried to make Salman Khan ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. In which not only Salman, but there are also many new actors like Shahnaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Jassi Gill, Raghav Jewel, Siddharth. Know whether Farhad was able to understand this time what kind of film the audience wanted.
Story Talking about it, you will remember Priyadarshan’s comedy film ‘Halchal’ from the initial plot of this story. Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) and his three brothers Moh (Jassi Gill), Ishq (Raghav Jual) Luv (Siddharth). All three call him ‘Bhaijaan’ and this is the reason why the whole locality calls him ‘Bhaijaan’. Powerful MLA Mahavir (Vijendra Singh) wants to grab the land of this locality, but Bhaijaan is standing as a trouble for him. No one knows his real name. On the other hand, Bhaijaan never married for his brothers because the girl would come and break the house. But the three younger brothers have become girlfriends. They want to get married and found a cure that if it happens to brother, then it will happen to the younger ones too. Then there is the entry of South Indian Bhagyalakshmi (Pooja Hegde), on seeing whom the younger brothers consider her as their sister-in-law. On the other hand Bhagyalakshmi also has a brother (Venkatesh) who is far away from violence. This family meets and then the whole story changes. For what happens next, you will have to go to the cinema hall.
What will happen in the story after 2 scenes, everything will be known
First of all, it is clear that this is a completely Salman Khan film, in which there is nothing but Salman. He is the protector, there is the killer power. Every character of the film is just engaged in making him ‘Bhaijaan’. Why are the other characters, what is their story, their connection, the director has not taken the trouble to show or tell such unnecessary things. The first half of the film is weak and very predictable. There is not a single scene that you would feel new after seeing. The second half is more engaging than the first half. However, there is not a single scene or part in the entire film that you have not seen in any other film before this film. Not only this, dozens of goons were killed in the moving metro of Delhi, but neither the metro stops nor any police comes. So, if the story of Dilawarpur were shown at this place in Delhi, then maybe the audience would get convinced.
Pooja Hegde has appeared with Salman for the first time in this film.
Somebody stop Farhad Samji
There is a lot of action in this film and if you want to see only action then this film is for you. But nothing more than that. Salman Khan is doing the same in this film as well which he does in all his films. That’s why they cannot be blamed. But the way director Farhad Samji has woven this film, it is clear that he has not learned anything from his old flop films and has made another extremely ‘average masala’ film. In this film, the director has worked with some precision, you can understand from this example that in one scene an action sequence is going on and the character of Satish Kaushik’s uncle gets shot. His friends pick him up and take him inside and at the end of the same scene, when Salman Khan is doing an action scene, uncle is seen clapping for ‘Bhaijaan’.
‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is based around Ajith’s 2014 film ‘Veeram’ but ‘Veeram’ was a hit. ‘Kisi ka bhai kisi ki jaan’ has been linked to bus scenes in Farhad. Imagine a vegetable is served in front of you, in which there is a lot of spices, oil is floating, chillies have been thrown in, coriander and turmeric too, but only the vegetable is missing in it…? This is the meaning of masala films in Bollywood. There is action, there are famous actors, nowadays there are influencers too, there are songs and a lot of slow-motion and bucket-full of action scenes, there is just no story and emotion.
Bhagyashree and Bhumika Chawla are also seen in this film of Salman Khan.
Talking about acting, many actors have been ruined in the film. Salman Khan has appeared in every avatar in this film, from long hair to smooth cheeks. So much so that when the scene of hair cutting comes after big hair and the logic behind it is given, then irritation starts. Pooja Hegde is fine in the film. pending In the track of Teen Bhai Aur Teen Girlfriend, these 6 actors have been made to stand together in many scenes by making a bus pair. There is no depth in these characters and this is the reason why even after being a good actor, no one emerges in front. Shahnaz Gill and Raghav Jual, who are actually very funny, have also been seen standing together in this film. However, in these 6 actors, if anyone can stop the eyes, then it is Palak Tiwari.
You often come out of Salman Khan’s films with a dialogue that can be spoken among friends. But you will not find any such dialogue in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. Salim Khan’s son Salman, who has shown the hero on the screen with his stories, larger than life, probably now needs some good stories and a good director. On many levels, seeing ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ in 2023 itself makes us think. 2 stars to this film from my side.
