There is bad news for the teachers who have taken the status of government employees and have been missing from school for the last six months. Additional Chief Secretary of Bihar Education Department, KK Pathak has issued an order to dismiss all the employed teachers, who have been missing from the school for the last six months or more than 6 months without informing the department. KK Pathak has issued orders to the district officials and district education officers to identify all such employed teachers and take action against them.

Know what is written in the letter

Teachers employed for the last 6 months are being continuously investigated. Many types of irregularities were found during this period. On being informed about this, various types of actions were taken by the District Education Officer. According to the letter, the salaries of many teachers who remained absent from the school without approval were deducted, but when action for their suspension was recommended in other serious cases, the concerned planning units did not take any specific action against those teachers. Therefore, District Magistrates and District Education Officers of all the districts have been instructed to make a list of all the teachers who are missing from their schools and take action against them.

Teachers divided into two phases

In the letter issued by KK Pathak, the department has divided the employed teachers who are absent from school without notice into two phases. according to the letter

Action was recommended for suspension of employed teachers who are missing from the school without notice for less than 6 months, in which only 34 teachers have been suspended by the employing units. In the second phase, there are those employed teachers who are missing from school for more than 6 months. There are a total of 582 such employed teachers, many of whom are missing for a period of more than 2 years.
