Kolkata Murder Case: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Tollygunge area of Kolkata. According to the information, a young man has murdered his sister-in-law. It is being told that the woman rejected her brother-in-law’s proposal. After which the young man got angry and strangled the woman to death. Not only this, after the murder, he beheaded the woman, cut her body into three pieces and threw it in different parts of the area.
During police investigation, it was revealed that the accused was 35-year-old Atiur Rahman Laskar, who is a laborer by profession. He admitted that the woman repeatedly rejected his advances. Because of which he committed this heinous crime. The woman was living separately from her husband for the last two years and used to accompany Laskar to work every day.
CCTV footage and evidence revealed the secret
The police examined the CCTV cameras installed in the area and based on the evidence recovered from the spot, arrested the accused from his native village, Basuldanga (Diamond Harbour). Police said that Laskar took the woman to an under-construction building and murdered her and then threw her body parts at different places.
Local people informed the police
The woman’s severed head was found by local people in a polythene bag. After this people informed the police about this. After this, the police intensified the investigation with the help of sniffer dogs and other equipment. The rest of the body parts were also found near a pond. According to the police, the murder took place on Thursday (December 10) evening and its evidence was recovered on Friday and Saturday. This incident has shocked the city of Kolkata. At present, the police is interrogating the accused further so that the complete story of this terrible crime can be revealed.
