Made on a very low budget, the film ‘Lapata Ladies’ has spent more than half of its budget in just three days.
According to the report of Sacknilk, ‘Missing Ladies’ had an opening of Rs 75 lakh on the first day. There was a tremendous increase in the film’s earnings on the second day and the film earned Rs 1.45 crore. The initial report of the third day has come out, according to which ‘Missing Ladies’ has earned Rs 1.36 crore so far. With this the total at the domestic box office has reached Rs 3.56 crore.

Kiran Rao has returned to direction after a break of 13 years through ‘Missing Ladies’. Kiran last directed the 2011 film Dhobi Ghat.
