Anganwadi workers will also get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. Under this, assistance amount of up to two lakhs will be provided in case of death.

The former Chief Minister had announced

The Madhya Pradesh government has started CM Ladli Behna Yojana for the overall development of women, under this scheme, women are provided Rs 1,250 every month. The main objective of Ladli Behna Yojana is to make women financially self-reliant, to maintain continuous improvement in the health and nutrition level of women and their dependent children. Due to which the effective role of women in taking decisions at the family level will also be encouraged. Under this scheme At present, the cheapest cylinder in the country is available in Madhya Pradesh. Its price is just Rs 450. Earlier, the government was providing cheap cylinders in Rajasthan for Rs 500.

Assistance is available up to Rs 3000

Let us tell you that the amount received under the Ladli Behan Yojana is not limited to Rs 1250. It will gradually increase to Rs 3000 per month. Regarding this, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had given a statement while addressing an election rally in Medinipur, West Bengal, he had said that the government is depositing Rs 1250 in the accounts of Ladli Behan every month, and it is going to be increased to Rs 3000 per month. However, now Shivraj Singh Chauhan is not the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Before the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, the Shivraj government had promised to give gas cylinders to poor women for Rs 450. And it was said in its manifesto that Ladli sisters will now get LPG cylinders for Rs 450. Under the scheme, Lakshmi Raikwar of Tikamgarh district became the first beneficiary of the scheme. However, now the current Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is preparing to take it forward.

On the occasion of the launch of the scheme, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had announced for the Ladli sisters that LPG cylinders will be available for only Rs 450. Union Minister of Social Justice Dr. Virendra Kumar and Minister of State for Forests Rahul Singh had got Lakshmi Raikwar of Jatara of Tikamgarh district to complete the application process for getting a domestic gas cylinder for Rs 450.
