Two friends died in car collision in Hasanpur

Two cars collided in Saidangali police station area on Hasanpur-Sambhal road. In this, Shambhu Singh (42), resident of Hafizpur village of Hazratnagar Garhi police station area of Sambhal, and Ajit Singh (40), resident of Mahmoodpur Tanda, died. Six people were injured in the accident.
Both the youths were going to Gajraula in a car to attend the marriage ceremony of their friend’s sister. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem. The injured are being treated in the hospital.
Shambhu Singh, resident of Hafizpur, Inderpal son of Hardwari, Kamal Singh, resident of village Ainjra and Ajit, resident of Mahmudpur Tanda, boarded a car to attend the program of dedication and relationship of Deepchand’s sister Krishna, resident of village Hafizpur in police station Hazratnagar Garhi area of Sambhal district. Car driver Nisar was going to Gajraula.
As soon as his Alto car reached in front of the cold store near village Bhikanpur from Ujhari in the direction of Hasanpur, it collided with a Swift car coming from the direction of Hasanpur. Alto riders Shambhu and Ajit died in the accident while others were injured.
On the other hand, Chhotu and Bolki, residents of Jebra village of Rahara police station area, traveling in the Swift car and Om Kumar, resident of Gangatkola village of Hasanpur Kotwali area, were injured. Both the cars were damaged after the incident. Police and local people took out both the bodies from the car and took the injured to the hospital.
After first aid, Inderpal, Kamal and Nisar have been referred to the higher centre. CO Deep Kumar Pant said that two people have died in a road accident. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. While the injured are being treated. Legal action is being taken.
