Ladli Bahana Yojana: Madhya Pradesh government had started the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana for the women of the state in the year 2023. Under this scheme, the government sends an amount of Rs 1250 to the accounts of the beneficiary women of the state every month through direct benefit transfer. In the beginning of the scheme, the government used to send Rs 1000. But later it was increased. Recently news has come that the names of thousands of women of Madhya Pradesh have been removed from the beneficiary list of this scheme. Now in such a situation, those women will not get benefits under Ladli Behan Scheme. But let us tell you what is the reason behind name deletion and why women are automatically opting out of it.
Why are names being cut?
Actually, many women were registered in the state to avail the benefits of this scheme, after which when the money reached someoneβs account, many women were deprived of it. For this, many complaints came to the Women and Child Development Department, but the department could not resolve them. Let us tell you that the names of women are being removed from the scheme because this year many women have reached above 60 years of age on January 1, which is not eligible for the scheme. Apart from this, due to wrong date of birth, names of women are automatically being removed from the scheme.
Donβt make this mistake
Many of the women who had written January 1 as their date of birth while registering themselves in the scheme, reached above 60 years of age on January 1. While registering, you have to provide your actual date of birth along with proof. Many women had put their date of birth as January 1 in the Aadhaar card camp in case the date of birth was not complete in Aadhaar, on the basis of which the names of women who will turn 60 in 2025 were automatically left out of the scheme.
