Lebanon Pager Explosion Latest News: Lebanon is in fear after the blast in the pager, then in the walkie-talkie and solar panel system. So far, a total of 32 people have died due to such blasts, while more than 4500 people have been injured.

The New York Times has reported that Israel is behind the blasts in Lebanon and Syria, from pagers to walkie-talkies and solar panels. Quoting some former Israeli defense and intelligence officials, the report states that Israel was confident that Hezbollah would use pagers instead of mobiles. The suspicion on Israel deepens because the pagers and walkie-talkies that exploded in Lebanon were made by the same Hungarian company and then given to Hezbollah.
Work on the plan began after a statement by Hezbollah chief
This New York Times report also mentions former Israeli defense and intelligence officials. However, these people, on the condition of anonymity, have said that this operation was carried out by Israel itself and its script was written a few years ago. Hezbollah chief Nasrullah has long been insisting Hezbollah fighters to use pagers and walkie-talkies instead of cell phones or internet calling. He first publicly talked about the use of pagers in 2022 and after this statement, Israel prepared the blueprint for Operation Lebanon.
Israel had set up a shell company in 2022
To carry out Operation Lebanon, Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad formed 2-3 shell companies in Budapest, Hungary in 2022. One of these companies was named BAC Consulting KFT. This company later partnered with Taiwan’s Gold Apollo company. After this, it started making pagers and walkie talkies in collaboration with the Taiwanese company. After this, this company was promoted as an international pager manufacturer. Although this company also delivered general orders to build trust, but the entire focus was kept on Hezbollah and their pager orders.
Batteries equipped with explosive PETN were inserted inside the pager
The report claims that this company used to prepare batteries equipped with explosive PETN and fit them inside the pager. These pagers were first sent to Lebanon in May 2022. However, the number of pagers sent to Lebanon at that time was less, but after the Israeli army’s attacks on Hezbollah fighters increased, Hezbollah chief Nasrullah insisted on using pagers, then the production of pagers was increased.
Seeing the right opportunity, Israel carried out the operation
The report said that Hezbollah certainly considered these pagers and walkie-talkies as security equipment, but Israeli intelligence officers called them BUTTON, which had to be pressed at the right time to carry out the operation.
