Abhinav Siwach, who achieved success in UPSC exam with his hard work and dedication, has become an example for many people with his inspirational journey. He not only secured 16th rank in DMIS exam but also secured 12th rank in UPSC. After passing the DMIS exam, he worked on the post of SDM in Delhi. Earlier, he was working as Naib Tehsildar in Haryana. It is shocking to know that to get success in UPSC exam, he had left the job from a private company with an attractive package of Rs 30 lakh.
Left a job worth Rs 30 lakh and became the first Naib Tehsildar
Abhinav Siwach told that after doing B.Tech from Delhi, he also did MBA from IIM Kolkata. After this, through placement, he also got a job in a private company with a salary package of about thirty lakhs. But his attraction towards civil service could not diminish. Due to this, he left the job with a good package of lakhs, cleared HPSC and got posted on the post of Naib Tehsildar. During this time, after holding the post of Naib Tehsildar in Tohana for about six months, he passed the Delhi Civil Service examination and became SDM in Delhi. During this period he was also the SDM of South Delhi.
Seven-eight hours of study daily along with SDM job
Abhinav Siwach told in an interview that he has prepared for IAS along with the job. Because his dream from the beginning was to become an IAS. However, the post of SDM is also a very good position in Delhi. But I did not let my dream die. Along with the job, I studied continuously for about seven to eight hours. Apart from this, maintained complete distance from social media so that focus is not lost. After becoming an IAS, the main aim is to serve the society. If I have a good position, I will use it for the welfare of the common man.
There are many officers in the family
Abhinavβs father Satbir Siwach is Excise and Taxation Commissioner and his uncle Lalit Siwach is an IAS officer. His family is living in Hisar.
Cracked UPSC through self study
The success story of IAS Abhinav Siwach is an inspiration, which proves that with the right direction, dedication and hard work, any goal can be achieved. He attributed his success to self-study and said that he did not take the help of any coaching. He passed the UPSC exam by studying regularly for 5 to 6 hours at home. Talking about his success, Abhinav said that he was confident that he would be selected and when his All India rank of 12th came, he was happy with his performance.

Giving tips from his journey to the youth preparing for UPSC, Abhinav said that the key to success lies in understanding the basics properly. He advised the students to study hard and revise whatever they read well, so that they can achieve success. His guidance can inspire lakhs of students, who are working hard to achieve their goals.
