Krishna Kumar Bishnoi (KK Bishnoi) is today recognized as the SP (Superintendent of Police) of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, but his journey has been very inspiring and struggling. His wisdom and leadership ability while controlling the recent violence that broke out in Sambhal brought him into the limelight in the entire state. When explaining the miscreants amid the violence, he said, "Don’t waste your future with these leaders"then his voice went viral on social media. This shows his administrative ability and the art of handling the situation in a peaceful manner.
Know how was his journey from primary school to scholarship in France
KK Bishnoi was born in Barmer district of Rajasthan. He is the youngest among 6 siblings and received his early education from the village primary school. Since childhood, he was bright in studies and passed his 10th examination in first division from a private school in Sikar. After this, he studied 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya and then graduated from the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. Bishnoi’s educational journey did not stop here. He went on to obtain a master’s degree in international security from the Paris School of International Affairs on a scholarship from the French government and then also studied at ‘The Fletcher School’.
Left a job worth Rs 30 lakh and then became an IPS officer in two attempts.
KK Bishnoi started his career with a great job. He worked at the United Nations Trade Center on an annual package of Rs 30 lakh. However, his heart was always in administrative service. After working in this job for a year, he decided to return to India and obtained MPhil degree from JNU. Also worked in the Ministry of External Affairs, but his dream was to become an IPS officer. After this, he took the UPSC exam and passed it in the second attempt and became an IPS officer.
Posting in Sambhal
This was his first posting as SP in Sambhal and here he played an important role in controlling the violence that broke out last year. His wisdom and decisive actions calmed the situation and prevented the spread of violence. His administrative skills and peaceful leadership made him famous throughout the state.
