Actually the team of Excise Department had received a secret information that a big consignment of liquor was to be brought to the district near Haryana Delhi Border. After which the district excise department conducted a raid and the smugglers ran away while the driver of the truck was caught from the spot. Gaya. Liquor loaded in a truck with Nagaland number has been seized. It was hidden in thousands of jute sacks. The seized liquor is worth about Rs 45 lakh. It is made in Chandigarh and preparations are underway to dispose of it in the district. Haryana’s driver Mo Naeem has been arrested from the spot. The same local mafia has been identified and further action is being taken.
