How much is the profit?
According to official information given on Delhi’s Excise Department, a few years ago, a profit of around 12 per cent was made on beer, IMFL’s economy brand at Rs 4 per bottle, medium liquor at Rs 4.25, Indian liquor at 20 per cent and foreign liquor at 20 per cent. It happens. However, the profit margin on liquor may change in a few years and according to many reports, this profit remains in the range of 20 to 25 percent.
