Chhattarpur: An unfortunate incident has come to light in Bhadesar village of Naugaon in the district, due to which the entire village is in mourning. Here an elderly man died due to illness, after which about 20 minutes later his disabled wife committed suicide by setting herself on fire. After the incident, the husband and wife were cremated by the family by laying them on the same pyre.

Where in a Rajput family, husband and wife died together. Their last rites were performed with the same concern. 85-year-old Tatura Rajput was ill for two-three days. He died on Monday at around 2 pm. When the news of husband’s death reached his disabled wife Jamnabai Rajput, she breathed her last 30 minutes due to the separation from her husband.
I had already said that I would become a sati
The villagers said that the deceased Jamnabai used to say in the past that she would commit sati with her husband. Then the villagers used to think that the deceased was saying it in jest but when the incident happened today, the villagers remembered the words said by the deceased.
Two of the four sons had already died
Tatura Rajput had four sons Khemchandra, Bansidhar, Indrakumar and Jugalkishore, out of which two sons have already died. Indrakumar was suffering from cancer and died a few years ago and the other son Jugalkishore died after falling into a well.
