Jhunjhunu. A strange case has come to light in Jhunjhunu. Here a person troubled by debt became ready to commit suicide. Fed up with moneylenders, a person climbed the mobile tower carrying a bottle filled with petrol. The person climbed the tower and started threatening to commit suicide. After this a crowd of people gathered below. The police and farmer leaders who reached the spot tried to explain, after which about an hour the young man came down from the tower. The matter is of Goli mode of Jhunjhunu city.
Payment of more than Rs 50 lakh
City ward no. Victim Rohitash Kumar, resident of 22, told that the dispute over his land was going on for 40 years. Rajiv Manju, Girdhar Manju, resident of Jhunjhunu, had taken four lakh rupees from Rakesh Manju 8 years ago. In return he took blank cheques. The victim told that till now he has paid an amount of more than Rs 50 lakh, yet he is not returning the blank cheque.
If you don’t get justice in three days then give your body to the moneylenders.
The victim told that the lender is depositing the amount in the check as per his wish and depositing it in the bank. They are torturing me for money. I am fed up of paying off the loan. He said that if justice is not given in three days, he will commit suicide by consuming poison. After this his body should also be given to the moneylenders.
Woman filed a case of fraud
SHO Pawan Chaubey said that a woman had filed a case of fraud against Rohitash Kumar. He was called to the police station for investigation. He climbed the tower. Went to the spot and explained and got him down. Inquiries are being made regarding the problem. In the matter, SHO and farmer leader Rajendra Fauji assured to get justice to the youth.
