Last time, during his visit four days ago, he tried to woo the Kushwahas and on Saturday, he made the same attempt through a meeting at Kutumba Garh in Aurangabad. He kept his finger on the pulse of the Kushwahas after directly attacking the opposition alliance and leaders.
Will punish the culprits of Sujit Mehta murder case
Samrat Choudhary tried to mobilize the people of Kushwaha caste who were angry and away from BJP by discussing the much talked about Sujit Mehta murder case of Amba in the family meeting. In this effort, he said that no criminal involved in the Sujit Mehta murder case will be spared. He will be punished under any circumstances. If there was an NDA government in Bihar at that time, this work would have been done at that time. He also said that criminals have no caste and religion. There should be no politics on this. Samrat Chaudhary said that good governance has to be established in the state and this is possible only when everyone gets justice.
Sujit Mehta was murdered on 5 August 2022.
In fact, on August 5, 2022, Sujit Mehta was shot dead by criminals near Batare River Bridge in Amba police station area when he was returning to his village Dadhapa Bigha. This matter came to a boil after the murder. There were many protests and movements regarding this. There was a stream of leaders coming to Amba from the state capital Patna. This matter was very popular at that time. After the agitation, the police had made arrests in the case and some had also surrendered in the court. The matter is pending in the court. By raising this issue, Samrat Chaudhary has tried to harvest Kushwaha votes.
Reason behind the importance of Kushwaha vote
The significance of Kushwaha votes in Aurangabad Lok Sabha seat is very important, because here the number of Kushwaha voters is only 50 thousand less than Rajput voters. From this the importance of Kushwaha vote can be estimated. Numerical strength is also the reason for putting pressure on Kushwaho – Rajputs are at number one in terms of number of voters in Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency, whose number is 2 lakh 25 thousand. At second place are Yadav, whose number is 2 lakh and at third place are Kushwaha-Daangi, whose number is 1 lakh 75 thousand. Apart from this, the number of Ravidas is 1 lakh 50 thousand, the number of Bhuiyan caste is 1 lakh 50 thousand, the number of Paswan is 1 lakh 25 thousand and the number of Muslims is 1 lakh 25 thousand. Along with numerical strength, RJD candidate being from Kushwaha caste and RJD’s MY equation is increasing the strength of Abhay Kushwaha. Reducing this power is necessary for BJP to win this seat and Samrat Choudhary is trying to fulfill this need.

Actually, it is common to know about the voting trend of Kushwaha caste that Kushwaha caste does not look at the party but at its own caste in the matter of votes. This caste votes for the leader of another caste at the behest of senior leaders of its caste only when there is no candidate of its own caste on the concerned seat in the elections. If the candidate of one’s own caste is from any party, then that caste votes for that candidate. Actually, Samrat Chaudhary is engaged in breaking this myth.
