Aurangabad District Election Officer cum District Magistrate Shrikant Shastri and Superintendent of Police Swapna Gautam Meshram voted on Friday at Model Polling Center No. 183 located in the Zilla Parishad office complex in the city. After voting, the DM appealed to the people to come out of their homes and vote 100%. He said that the voting percentage of Aurangabad has been low. For this reason, people should vote more and more so that the voting percentage increases. For this he appealed to the young voters to come forward. SP said that voting is going on peacefully at all the booths. There are strong security arrangements. People are participating enthusiastically in the festival of democracy.
Outgoing MP and BJP candidate cast their vote, took a jibe at the opposition RJD candidate
Aurangabad’s outgoing MP and BJP candidate Sushil Kumar Singh on Friday cast his vote at Model Polling Station No. 183 located at the Zilla Parishad office complex in the city. During this he said that he has voted to strengthen democracy. He also took a dig at his opponent RJD candidate Abhay Kushwaha. He said that he is such a candidate who cannot even cast his vote for himself. He is a resident of Gaya Lok Sabha and he has to vote for the candidate of Gaya, whereas not only I but my family are residents of this place. We are all voting for the strengthening of democracy.
Blood came from polling officer’s nose due to heat
A polling officer doing election duty at booth number 184 in Aurangabad suddenly fell ill. It is said that his health suddenly deteriorated due to severe heat. Gopal Ram, who was performing the responsibility of P-1, suddenly started bleeding from his nose. After washing the blood and face, he is currently resting on the side of the booth. In this regard, he said that this had never happened to him before, it happened only today. He is a teacher in Middle School Shahpur in Nabinagar. The control room has been informed about the teacher’s health deteriorating. From there another election worker kept in reserve is being sent to the booth.
