Rashtriya Janata Dal’s candidate from Saran, Rohini Acharya, may now face problems. The reason for this is that the Bharatiya Janata Party has made serious allegations against him. BJP says that Rohini has given wrong information to the Commission in her nomination and affidavit. BJP has filed a complaint against Rohini in the Election Commission saying that Rohini has given wrong information in the affidavit regarding her income and movable property in the income tax return. BJP’s judicial department convenor SD Sanjay has made a written complaint in this regard to the returning officer of Saran demanding cancellation of Rohini Acharya’s nomination papers.

BJP’s judicial department convenor SD Sanjay has made a written complaint in this regard to the returning officer of Saran saying that Rohini lives in Singapore, while as her address she has written 208, Kautilya Nagar, MP/M LA Colony, Patna. . It is also written in the complaint letter that Rohini has not given the details of the property in Singapore, whereas in the immovable property column, she has only mentioned the land situated in Danapur under Patna. It has also been said in the written complaint that Rohini is not giving details of her income where she is living (Singapore).
BJP is demanding cancellation of nomination
Bharatiya Janata Party raised questions and said that Rohini Acharya has been living in Singapore for more than 5 years, even though she is a resident of India, although this has not been declared in the affidavit. BJP says that there are many points on which Bharatiya Janata Party has requested to cancel the nomination papers of Rohini Acharya under Section 36(4) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
