BJP workers clash with police over going inside polling booth
There was a fierce altercation between BJP workers and policemen when they were stopped from entering the polling booth in Pilibhit. BJP candidate Jitin Prasad had reached the city’s GGIC polling center with some supporters. Where the police personnel stopped them from going. After this, blaming the policemen, the BJP workers complained about the matter to the DM. As soon as the information was received, Sungarhi Inspector also reached the spot. After this people were allowed inside.

80-year-old Krishna Avtar Kansal of the city reached Drummond Inter College booth with his wife to vote. His wife is unable to walk. That’s why he took them on a scooter and reached the polling station. After voting he said that everyone should vote in the interest of the country.

SP candidate made serious allegations against the police
Amidst the voting, SP candidate from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat Bhagwat Saran Gangwar has made serious allegations against the police. The SP candidate, who reached Drummond Inter College in the city, said that the police picked up our workers and leaders at night. The police threatened them. Said that you are a Samajwadi Party worker. Will not go towards polling booths. Will not oppose BJP.
