In the Lok Sabha elections, 11 candidates from Kheri and 12 candidates from Dhaurahra Lok Sabha seat are trying their luck to become MPs. 2890 polling parties were sent from Rajapur Mandi complex on Sunday, which reached the booths by the evening. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm on Monday. Mock poll will be conducted about 90 minutes before the start of voting.
There are a total of 28 lakh 66 thousand 653 voters in Kheri and Dhaurahra seats. Kheri Lok Sabha seat has a total of 18 lakh 62, 469 voters from Palia, Nighasan, Gola, Lakhimpur and Srinagar and Dhaurhara Lok Sabha seat has a total of 17 lakh, 13 thousand 971 voters from Mohammadi, Kasta, Dhaurhara, Hargaon and Maholi. Maholi and Hargaon assembly constituencies are in Sitapur district. 24 zonal and 207 sector magistrates have been appointed to ensure peaceful and fair voting.
