Lok Sabha Election 2024: Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party has released the second list of its candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. A total of 11 candidates are included in this list. Afzal Ansari has got the ticket from Ghazipur seat of Uttar Pradesh. Afzal Ansari’s elder brother Mukhtar Ansari is a mafia and is lodged in Banda jail. However, Mukhtar Ansari himself contests elections from inside the jail and has been continuously winning. In 2022, Mukhtar had given ticket to his son in his place and he was also successful in winning.

Afzal Ansari is also not a new name in UP politics. Afzal had defeated BJP’s Union Minister Manoj Sinha in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Afzal Ansari, who became MP for the first time in 2004, is carrying forward his father’s legacy. His father Subhanallah Ansari started his politics in 1977. Since then, the Ansari family has established itself in eastern UP. Abbas Ansari and Suhaib Ansari also won the 2022 assembly elections.

11 candidates in the second list of Samajwadi Party
Akhilesh Yadav upcoming Lok Sabha Elections The second list of candidates has been released. There are 11 candidates in this list. In the first list, Samajwadi Party had announced the names of candidates on 16 seats. Overall, the party has decided its candidates for 27 seats. According to Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary, Akhilesh Yadav has offered 17 seats out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. However, according to the claim, Akhilesh has fielded his candidates on many such seats where Congress wanted to field its candidates. With the arrival of the second list of Samajwadi Party candidates, it has also been decided that the alliance with RLD has been broken. Akhilesh has also fielded candidates on those seats which he wanted to give to RLD.
