Lok Sabha elections… This is an opportunity to elect the government of the country. During the campaign, the veterans visited every village and enumerated their strengths and the shortcomings of the opposition. Now it is your turn to come out of your homes and vote. Let us tell you here that this time six candidates from political parties and five independent candidates are in the fray for Badaun parliamentary seat. Voters will write the fate of a total of 11 candidates with their votes.
Durvijay Singh from BJP, Aditya Yadav from SP and Muslim Khan from BSP are in the fray. If any of the three wins, he will enter Parliament for the first time, because none of them has ever been an MP. Elections are a matter of prestige for political parties. On one side there is Aditya Yadav from Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family. On the other hand, BJP has fielded senior organization leader and Brij region president Durvijay Singh Shakya.
Even Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is taking the feedback of Durvijay’s election. He visited Badaun Lok Sabha constituency thrice after the elections for the first time. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav himself has visited twice. Usually all of them come to the Lok Sabha constituency only once. There are five assembly seats in the Lok Sabha constituency. In this, the reputation of BJP’s Sadar MLA Mahesh Gupta and Bilsi MLA Harish Shakya is at stake. This is the home district of Union Minister BL Verma. That’s why his prestige is also attached to the seat.
