Lok Sabha Election Polling: After Manipur, the Election Commission has now decided to conduct re-polling in Arunachal Pradesh also. Actually, re-voting will be conducted at 8 polling stations in Arunachal Pradesh. There was violence at several polling stations during the first phase of voting in Arunachal Pradesh on April 19, after which the Election Commission decided to conduct re-polling at these centers. Here the Election Commission has announced the results of polling conducted at eight polling stations in four districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Lok Sabha Elections Was declared ‘invalid’.

In Arunachal Pradesh, voting for the Assembly elections along with the Lok Sabha was held in the entire state on April 19. Election officials say that during the simultaneous voting for Lok Sabha and Assembly in the first phase of voting on April 19, electronic voting machines (EVMs) were damaged at these 8 polling stations and incidents of violence were reported.

Voting will take place from 6 am to 2 pm

In this matter, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Pawan Kumar Sain said in an order that the latest voting will be held from 6 am to 2 pm. At the same time, during the first phase of voting on April 19, more than 76.44 percent of the 8.92 lakh voters exercised their franchise simultaneously in the Assembly and Parliamentary elections in two Lok Sabha constituencies and 50 out of 60 Assembly seats. Whereas, ruling party BJP candidates have been elected unopposed on 10 assembly seats including Chief Minister Pema Khandu (Mukto) and Deputy Chief Minister Chauna Meen (Chaukham).

Voting will be done again from these states

The Election Commission has declared Sario in Bameng assembly constituency of East Kameng district, Longte Loth of Nyapin assembly constituency in Kurung Kumey, Dingser, Bogiya Siyum, Jimbari and Lengi of Nacho constituency in Upper Subansiri district, Bogne and Molom of Rumgong assembly constituency of Siang district. It was decided to conduct voting again at the polling stations. While voting for 50 MLAs in Arunachal Pradesh was held on April 19, independent candidates have won 10 seats here.
