The Indy alliance has adopted a new strategy for the 27 seats of the sixth and seventh phases. The Congress team has also joined this strategy made by the SP. Under this, the alliance has focused on the booths that had less votes in the previous elections. The responsibility of these booths has been handed over to the frontal organizations. 160 such booths have been marked in every assembly constituency. One organization has been entrusted with the management of 40 booths.
Samajwadi Party has assigned the responsibility of the marked booths to the state president and other senior officials of Lohia Vahini, Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade, Yuvajan Sabha and Chhatra Sabha. The booth committee decided by the district committee of the party is working as before. While the officials of the frontal organization have taken the responsibility of booth management by adding new people to the marked booths. Through this strategy, the party is working towards increasing its vote bank.

Congress is united with SP
Under the alliance, Congress has got 17 seats and Trinamool Congress has got the only Bhadohi seat. Of the 27 seats where elections are to be held, Congress has five seats. Frontal organizations of SP are working on all these seats. After the elections of Amethi and Rae Bareli, Congress leaders have also participated in the strategy made by SP. Along with the frontal organizations of SP, officials of Youth Congress, Indian National Student Organization, Seva Dal and other organizations have also been included as allies.
what will be the benefit
The marked booths are those with the lowest voter turnout. Party strategists believe that the officials of the frontal organization will add at least two to five people at the booth where the party got 10 votes in the last election. On one hand, those who join the party will ensure the votes of their families, on the other hand they will not allow any kind of fraud to take place at the respective booths. In this way there will be double benefit.
Congress spokesperson Manish Hindvi said that on the seats where Congress candidates are contesting, most of the officials have taken the responsibility of the booths, but on other seats, work is being done in coordination with the SP team. Full focus has been placed on the marked booths with less votes.
State President of Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade Anees Raja said that the party officials are working on 40 booths in each assembly constituency. This has yielded positive results. Now preparations are on to defeat BJP in Purvanchal with the same strategy.
Lohia Vahini’s state president Ramkaran Nirmal said that families associated with the identified booths were contacted. Many youths from different communities are influenced by SP president Akhilesh Yadav and former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi and are joining the party.
State President of Yuvajan Sabha Arvind Giri said that a team of youth is ready at the challenging booths. Many youth have been included. Wherever elections have been held, this strategy has yielded positive results.
State President of Student Assembly, Vineet Kushwaha said that party supporters are not able to cast their votes at many places at the marked booths. Now the team of youth is ready. No kind of rigging will be allowed.
