Bihar BJP expelled Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh for contesting the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate against the official NDA candidate. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bihar state headquarters in-charge Arvind Sharma has issued a letter in the name of Pawan Singh. In this he wrote that in the Lok Sabha elections, you are contesting against the official candidate of National Democratic Alliance, Upendra Kushwaha. This work of yours is anti-party. Due to this the image of the party has been tarnished. Therefore, you are expelled on the instructions of State President Samrat Chaudhary for doing anti-party work.
BJP had given ticket from Asansol
Let us inform you that Pawan Singh had earlier announced his decision to contest the elections from Karakat Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate. Earlier, BJP has given him Asansol Lok Sabha ticket. BJP wanted Pawan Singh to contest elections from Asansol only. But, the very next day Pawan Singh refused to contest the elections. Actually, Pawan Singh wanted to contest elections from Arrah in Bihar. But, when Union Minister and sitting MP RK Singh was given the ticket from Arrah, Pawan Singh announced to contest the elections as an independent candidate from Karakat.
Kushwaha said – trying to mislead the public
Let us tell you that voting on Karakat seat will be held on June 1 in the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections. At present, most of the parties are focusing on the Lok Sabha seats of the fourth and fifth phase. Here NDA has fielded Upendra Kushwaha. Pawan Singh has contested as an independent candidate after not getting ticket from BJP. On behalf of the Grand Alliance, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) has fielded Raja Ram Singh and he is also happy that NDA voters are getting divided on this name. BJP leaders are openly supporting Upendra Kushwaha. Here, Upendra Kushwaha is also saying that Pawan Singh is just trying to mislead the public by showing his power through social media.
