Along with the temperature, the political temperature of Pilibhit district is also rising. Voting is to be held on 19 April. Before the rain of votes at the polling places, Amar Ujala’s election chariot ‘Satta Ka Sangram’ reached the district on Sunday. First of all, there was a discussion over tea at Kamalle intersection at 8 in the morning regarding the elections. Talked to the youth in the degree college in the afternoon. In the evening a discussion was held with representatives of political parties in the park of Ashok Colony. The issue of drinking water and waterlogging came up during the discussion.
There was a heated debate between the leaders of BJP and SP regarding external candidates. The SP leader said that MP Varun Gandhi has been punished for speaking the truth. On this, BJP people said that Varun was in BJP and will always remain so. People involved in the discussion said that elections are being held in the name of religion. The issue of development is missing. Businessman Abhishek Aggarwal said that we are supporters of BJP, but also play the role of positive opposition. We protested against corruption.
In the park of Ashok Colony, SP and Aam Aadmi Party officials fiercely attacked the BJP government at the Center and the state. SP’s Sandeep Saxena said that the condition of health services in the district is in bad shape. Unemployment is at its peak. Papers of competitive exams are being leaked. The party’s candidate was also described as an outsider.
Countering this, BJP’s Dhirendra Mishra said that BJP has brought a lot of development. A medical college is being built in the district. Said that the opposition parties neither have a leader nor any policy. Referring to the problems, Laxmikant Sharma said that pure drinking water is not available here. Dirty water comes in supply, which is causing many harms.
