Mallikarjun Kharge Targets PM Modi: PM Modi recently made a statement that before the film ‘Gandhi’ was made by Richard Attenborough, no one in the world knew Mahatma Gandhi. The opposition is attacking him on this statement. Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has targeted Prime Minister Modi by holding a press conference. Kharge has said that he does not know about Mahatma Gandhi.
On PM Modi’s statement about Mahatma Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, ‘The one who does not know about Mahatma Gandhi does not know about the Constitution either. Yesterday, Prime Minister Modi said that the whole world came to know about Mahatma Gandhi after watching Richard Attenborough’s film. I laugh. The whole world knows him. His statue is in front of the UN and in 80-90 countries. The whole world knows Mahatma Gandhi.’
‘Modi’s politics is full of hatred’
Targeting Prime Minister Modi, Kharge said, ‘Just by going to Vivekananda and taking a dip in the sea, you will not know about Gandhi. He had a non-violent thinking. Modi does politics of hatred.
Jairam Ramesh also targeted
Jairam Ramesh also attacked the Prime Minister’s statement and wrote on social media, ‘I don’t know in which world the outgoing Prime Minister lives where Mahatma Gandhi was not recognized worldwide before 1982. If anyone has destroyed the legacy of the Mahatma, it is the outgoing Prime Minister himself. His own government has destroyed Gandhian institutions in Varanasi, Delhi and Ahmedabad.’
He further said, ‘This is the identity of RSS workers that they do not know the nationalism of Mahatma Gandhi. The environment created by their ideology was the reason why Nathuram Godse killed Gandhiji. The election of 2024 has been fought between Mahatma bhakt and Godse bhakt. The defeat of the outgoing Prime Minister and his Godse bhakt companions is obvious.’
