Loksabha Election 2024: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday (April 20) fiercely targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running a ‘school of corruption’ in the country. He said that he himself is teaching the subject ‘Complete Corruption Science’.
Rahul further said, “Like how donations are collected by conducting raids? How contracts are distributed after taking donations? How does the washing machine that washes corrupt people work? How the game of ‘bail and jail’ is run by making agencies recovery agents. Is?”
Rahul Gandhi said that BJP, which has become a ‘den of corrupt people’, has made this ‘crash course’ mandatory for its leaders, for which the country is now paying the price. He said that the India Alliance government will lock this school of corruption and close this course forever. This attack by Rahul Gandhi comes a few days after he called PM Modi a ‘champion of corruption’ and termed electoral bonds as ‘the world’s biggest extortion scheme’.
This election is an ideological election- Rahul Gandhi
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, contesting from Wayanad, said that this election is an ideological election. On one side there are RSS and BJP who are trying to destroy the Constitution and the democratic system of the country and on the other side there is the India Alliance which stands for the protection of the Constitution and the democratic system.
What did PM Modi say on electoral bonds?
In fact, during an interview given to news agency ANI earlier this week, PM Narendra Modi Had said that the purpose of electoral bonds is to curb black money. The PM further said, “I never say that there is no flaw in taking decisions. We learn and improve by discussing. There is a lot of scope for improvement in this too. But today we have completely turned the country towards black money. That’s why I say that when the opposition leaders will think honestly, everyone will regret.”
