He further said, “I discharged the trust reposed in me by the party by making me a National Executive member, and I discharged it with full responsibility. Be it the 2019 Lok Sabha elections or by-elections, GMHC elections or assembly elections. In Telangana, the imprisoned Sanjay Garu continued the development work and took BJP to new heights. The party is emerging in the state and is also spreading the message of development to the people.”
Why did Jitendra Reddy resign?
Writing about the reason for his resignation, he said, “However, after the change in state leadership, the party also saw ups and downs. Especially during the recently held assembly elections, where the party should have won at least 25 out of 119 seats in the Telangana Assembly, it was able to win only 8 seats. Even in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, our party gave importance to outsiders who recently joined our party. I expressed my views several times to the state and central leadership. Therefore, I regret that I am resigning from BJP. This letter should be considered as my resignation. It was nice working with all of you.”
