Voting will be held in the third phase on Supaul Lok Sabha seat of Bihar on May 7. In this regard, candidates will be able to file their nominations from today Friday till 19th April. However, nominations will not be filed on April 14 and 17 due to holidays. Nomination will be done in the office of Supaul District Magistrate. At the same time, the monitoring of the nomination process will be completed under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Vehicles and supporters will be stopped a hundred meters outside the Collectorate complex. Barricading is being done to implement the arrangements. At the same time, a pandal has been set up for journalists in the Collectorate premises. During nomination, only five people including the candidate will be allowed to enter the nomination room.

District Election Officer cum District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar said that all necessary preparations have been completed in view of the nomination. Meanwhile, District Deputy District Election Officer Anirudh Yadav said that till Thursday, two people have got NR filed for nomination. NR fee for SC/ST candidates is fixed at Rs 12 thousand five hundred, while for other candidates it is fixed at Rs 25 thousand. Here, police have been deployed at all the major places and intersections of the city including the Collectorate regarding nomination. In view of the security arrangements, 12 international and 14 interdistrict check posts have been made on various borders of the district.

19 Lakh 17 Thousand 809 Voters will choose their MP

The total number of voters including Supaul, Pipra, Nirmali, Chhatapur and Triveniganj of the district falling under Supaul parliamentary constituency and Sinheshwar assembly of Madhepura district is 19 lakh 17 thousand 809. Among these, the total number of voters in all the assemblies of Supaul district is 15 lakh 88 thousand 730 and the number of voters in Sinheshwar assembly is 3 lakh 29 thousand 79. There are eight lakh 21 thousand 307 male and seven lakh 67 thousand 392 female voters in the district. Of these, the number of new voters is 26,138. Whereas there are 12,045 voters whose age is more than 85 years. At the same time, there are one lakh 70 thousand 755 male and one lakh 58 thousand 315 female voters in Sinheshwar Assembly.

Will be built in Lok Sabha constituency 1,894 Polling Booth

For the Lok Sabha elections, 1,566 polling stations will be set up at 973 places in Supaul district. These include 324 booths in Nirmali Assembly, 306 in Pipra, 311 in Supaul, 324 in Chhatapur and 301 in Triveniganj. At the same time, a total of 328 polling stations will be made in Sinheshwar Assembly. That means the total number of polling stations in Supaul Lok Sabha constituency will be 1,894. 73 polling stations will also be built inside the Kosi embankment in Supaul. This includes six such polling stations, to reach which one will have to cross two streams of the river.

16 to JDU18 RJD candidates will file nomination on

NDA has once again expressed confidence in JDU MP Dileshwar Kamat from Supaul Lok Sabha seat. He will file nomination on April 16. After that, there will be a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Supaul from 11 am. This will include BJP State President and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Ministers Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Nitish Mishra, Sheela Mandal and Ratnesh Sada.

At the same time, this time RJD MLA Chandrahas Chaupal from Singheshwar, Madhepura is in the fray from INDIA side. Chaupal will file nomination on April 18. After that, he will hold a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Supaul at 11 am. Former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and VIP supremo Mukesh Sahni are likely to attend it. Chaupal told that many other big leaders can attend the meeting.
