Today the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a huge public meeting at Raj Maidan in Darbhanga. All preparations regarding this have been completed. For the security of the Prime Minister, senior officers of Bihar Police and SPG NSG personnel have been deployed here. Not only this, one hundred SPG personnel equipped with Belgian made rifles have been deployed for the security of the Prime Minister in this meeting. More than a dozen IPS officers, 30 DSP rank officers and five thousand soldiers have been deployed for the security of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi will reach Darbhanga airport after taking off from Ranchi airport at 2 pm. Then from there he will reach Raj Maidan in Darbhanga by road and address the gathering.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will try to win the Darbhanga Lok Sabha as well as Jhanjharpur, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Ujiarpur seats from Darbhanga’s Raj Maidan. He had won the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019 by addressing the gathering from the same ground. The result of the meeting at Raj Maidan here was that NDA got a big success not only in Darbhanga but in the entire Mithila region. NDA had won from Samastipur, Ujiarpur, Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Sitamarhi, Begusarai and Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha constituencies.
Know why Darbhanga is important
In the 2019 elections, the air of Mithilanchal reached Kosi and Seemanchal. As a result, all the seats except Kishanganj went to NDA. In fact, in terms of politics, Darbhanga affects not only the entire Mithila but also Supaul and Madhepura of Kosi region.

In Darbhanga parliamentary constituency, the total number of voters is 17 lakh 74 thousand 289, in Muzaffarpur 17 lakh 11 thousand 892, in Jhanjharpur 32 lakh 792 thousand, in Ujiarpur 15 lakh 69 thousand 392, in Samastipur 16 lakh 79 thousand 30, while in Madhubani. There are 30 lakh 14 thousand 211 voters.
There will be strong security arrangements
Strict security arrangements have been made for the arrival of the Prime Minister. The entire responsibility of security will be on the Special Protection Group (SPG). The PM will reach Darbhanga around 1 pm on Saturday. The PM will be surrounded by SPG commandos. Hundred SPG commandos will be equipped with 3.5 kg rifles imported from Belgium. From Darbhanga Airport, PM Modi will reach Raj Maidan of Sanskrit University campus by road via Bela, Bagh Mod.
